The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released the result of the Practical Technical Efficiency Test (PET) conducted for recruitment to the post of Head Constable in the Motor Transport branch. The recruitment drive is being held for 176 vacant posts in the department.
The notification was issued by the board from Lucknow on May 26, 2026. The recruitment process is being carried out under the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Police Motor Transport Subordinate Officer Service Rules, 2015.
According to the notice, the first phase written examination was conducted on October 5, 2025. A total of 3,950 candidates had appeared in the recruitment process. Out of them, 2,781 candidates secured 35 marks or more and qualified for the next round.
These shortlisted candidates were called for the Practical Technical Efficiency Test, which was conducted between April 28 and May 11, 2026, at four examination centres in Lucknow and Sitapur districts.
The board said that 2,542 candidates have been declared eligible in the practical test round. Candidates who secured 25 marks or more in the test have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process.
The result has been uploaded on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Candidates can check their status by entering their registration number and date of birth.

- Go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, uppbpb.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the latest notification related to the Motor Transport Head Constable recruitment result.
- Open the link for the “Practical Technical Efficiency Test Result”.
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on the submit button.
- Your result will appear on the screen.
- Download the result and take a printout for future use.
