UP PGT exam city intimation slip 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board (UPSESSB) has released the UP Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) exam city slip today, April 30, 2026. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now access their exam city details through the official portal, upessc.up.gov.in, using their registration credentials.
According to the schedule announced officially, the written examination of UP PGT will take place on May 9 & 10, 2026. Two shifts will take place on both these dates. While the morning shift will continue between 9:30 am and 11:30 am, the afternoon shift will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The subject-wise and shift-wise distribution has already been declared officially.
Around 4,64,605 aspirants are expected to appear in the examination for securing 624 Lecturer vacancies through Advertisement No. 02/2022. For conducting the exam smoothly, around 319 exam centers are planned in 17 districts of Uttar Pradesh. These districts include well-known names like Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur Nagar, Varanasi, Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Aligarh, Jhansi, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Basti, Banda, and Mirzapur.
