Moderately Difficult with Balanced CoverageAccording to early feedback, the Chemistry paper maintained a balanced approach, covering Physical, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry from across the syllabus. While several questions were direct and NCERT-based, some numerical problems in Physical Chemistry and a few application-based questions required careful thinking and time.
Many students reported that the paper was manageable but slightly lengthy, particularly in sections involving calculations and structured answers. Internal choices helped candidates attempt familiar topics.
Student ReactionsRihan Malik from Shri Shanti Swaroop Krishi Inter College, Hapur, who appeared for the exam at a designated centre in Hapur, described the paper as moderately challenging. “The paper was not very easy. Some questions, especially numericals, required detailed steps and took time, but overall it was manageable,” he said.
Another student, Anjali Verma, shared that most questions were from NCERT. “Organic and Inorganic sections were easier, but Physical Chemistry had a few tricky numericals,” she said.
Similarly, Rohit Kumar noted that time management was important. “The paper was moderate, but writing detailed answers and solving numericals made it feel a bit lengthy,” he added.
Exam Pattern and Key HighlightsThe question paper included a mix of objective, short-answer and long-answer questions, designed to test conceptual clarity, application and problem-solving ability. There was no negative marking, and the bilingual format (Hindi and English) helped students understand the questions clearly.
