It was an opportunity for students to visit a foreign education fair and explore new avenues at the two-day British Council's 'Education UK Exhibition' held in the Capital recently.

It was an opportunity for students to visit a foreign education fair and explore new avenues at the two-day British Council''s ''Education UK Exhibition'' held in the Capital recently.
The fair was an opportunity for students to interact and discuss with the academicians about what was in store for them, at the UK institutions.
"This time, over 100 academics from 61 leading UK institutions are participating in the fair," said Ruchika Castelino, manager, Education UK-North India.

Subjects offered at the different university desks at the fair ranged from the traditional science, arts, humanities to disciplines such as business, engineering, management and information technology, fashion, design with many vocational subject areas.
Highlights of the fair included seminars on UG courses, PG courses, student visas, vocational courses, IT and engineering, scholarships, online courses from UK at the British Council, art and design, law, biotechnology, business and management.
