UK Board result 2019: UBSE Uttarakhand 10th & 12th results soon, here's steps to check marks

Uttarakhand Board Class 10th and 12th result today

The two month wait for lakhs of students is set to end as the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has declared that the results for Class 10th and 12th board examinations which ended in March will be declared on Thursday morning.

Approximately, a total of 2.76 lakh students took the Uttarakhand Board examinations for Class 10, 12 this year.

The results will be declared by the Board’s chairman Rakesh Kunwar. As per the official sources, Kunwar will hold the press conference at 10:30 am after which the results will be uploaded on the board’s website. The candidates can then check their results at around 11 am on either ubse.uk.gov.in or uaresults.nic.in

Once results are released by the Board, the students who appeared in the Uttarakhand annual board examination 2019 visit the official website of the Board to check and download their result online. (Representative Image)

Class 10th result

The class 10 exams were held from March 2 to March 25, 2019. Around 149950 candidates appeared for the UBSE Class 10th examination this year. Around 1,49,486 students registered for the Class 10 exam last year. (Representative Image)

Class 12th result

Around 124867 candidates appeared for the UBSE Class 12th examination this year. The class 12 exams were held from March 1 to March 26, 2019. Last year, a total of 1,32,371 students had taken the Class 12th examination. (Representative Image)

Steps to check Uttarakhand Board 2019 results from the official website

1) Log on to the Uttarakhand Board of School Education or UBSE’s official website — ubse.uk.gov.in

2) Click on ‘Uttarakhand High School Result 2019’ or ‘Uttarakhand Intermediate Result 2019’ tab as applicable

3) Click the desired link and enter the required details

4) The Uttarakhand 10th Result 2019 or Uttarakhand 12th Result 2019 will be shown to you on the screen

5) Download and take a printout of your UK 10th Result 2019, UK 12th result 2019 as the same has to submitted at your college for attaining the original mark sheets and passing certificates.

6) The board authorities have advised the students to print copies of their result for future use. (Representative Image)

Previous years' result

UK board 10th result 2018 announced on May 26, 2018. Last year, class X recorded for an overall pass percentage of 74.57% while class XII recorded an overall pass percentage of 78.97%. Kajal Prajapati topped Class 10 and Divyanshi Raj stood first in Class 12 exams. Both scored 98.40% in their respective examination. More than 146,160 students appeared for the Class 10 exam.

In 2017, around 1,50,573 students have appeared for the examination and the pass percentage is around 73.67%. Boys had a pass percentage of 68.76% and girls had a pass percentage of 78.51%

Out of 1,68,022 students who have appeared for the examination in 2016, boys secured a pass percentage of 66.68% and girls secured 76.66%. The overall pass percentage is around 71.67%

In 2015 the overall pass percentage is 76.49 among 1,73,222 students. Boys had got 65.08% pass percentage and girls have got 76.66% pass percentage.

About Examination

There are more than 17,000 government schools across all 13 districts in Uttarakhand. The board set up 1,309 examination centres in Uttarakhand and 230 were identified as “sensitive”. A majority of the “sensitive” centres were in Nainital, Chamoli and Haridwar districts of the hill state, officials said. Nearly 2,000 teachers checked the answer sheets of the students.
