THE Business and Economics Rankings 2026: MIT, Stanford, and Oxford top the list
Business and economics are the core of the world of decision-making. It is these two areas that have a significant impact on the functioning of economies and the response of societies to change. With the increasing importance of these areas, there is also an increasing interest in where the best education, research, and engagement are taking place.
In this regard, the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026 for Business and Economics have been released, featuring the universities that are currently at the top of these subjects. The rankings include business and management, accounting and finance, and economics and econometrics.

The industry score of 99.7 in the university, the highest among the top five, indicates a strong interaction with industries. Performance in teaching (94.3) and a strong research environment (95.0) further strengthened its position.

The international outlook score of 94.0 indicates collaboration and faculty diversity across borders. The score of 98.2 in research environment, the highest among the top five universities, reflects scale and depth. The scores for research quality (76.8) reflect influence diffused over a broad volume of output rather than citation impact.
