The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially revised the number of vacancies for the Constable (General Duty) recruitment in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The total number of posts has now been increased from 39,481 to 53,690. The updated vacancy notification for the SSC GD Constable Examination 2025 is available on the commission’s official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held from February 4 to 25, 2025, are advised to check the revised vacancy details ahead of the result declaration, which is expected to be announced shortly in the month of April.

SSC GD Constable result 2025: Steps to check

Candidates can follow the steps as given here to check their result once released:Step 1. Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.Step 2. Click on the ‘Results’ tab on the homepage.Step 3. Find and click the link list of candidates who have qualified for PET/PST.

Step 4. The result PDF will appear on the screen. Step 5. Use Ctrl + F to search for your roll number or name in the list.Step 6. Save and print the PDF for future reference.
