ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad high court on Friday directed all the regional directors of education and district inspector of schools to remove all the appointed teachers working in aided and recognised intermediate schools on the basis of Shiksha Alankar degree issued by Rashtriya Patrachar Sansthan, Kanpur.
Passing this order, Justice Arun Tandon directed the education officials to ensure that no payments are made in future to these teachers working on the basis of Shiksha Alankar degrees.
The court has declared the said degree as illegal.
The court passed this order, dismissing a writ petition filed by Vinod Kumar Upadhyay of Mirzapur district.
