SBI Clerk Mains exam date 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to conduct the SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) Main Examination 2025 in November 2025, as mentioned in the official recruitment notification. However, the exact date and time of the examination are yet to be announced by the Bank.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the main exam. The preliminary test was held on September 20, 21, and 27, 2025, and the results were declared on November 4, 2025. The preliminary paper carried 100 questions divided into three sections: English Language (30 questions), Numerical Ability (35 questions), and Reasoning Ability (35 questions), with a total duration of one hour.
As per the detailed notification, the SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2025 will be held for a total of 200 marks, consisting of 190 questions to be completed in 2 hours and 40 minutes.
The question paper will be divided into four sections:
Each section will have separate timing. The test will be conducted in an objective multiple-choice format.
There will be negative marking for incorrect responses. One-fourth (¼) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates must secure the minimum aggregate qualifying marks as decided by the Bank. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), Ex-Servicemen (XS), and Disabled Ex-Servicemen (DXS) categories, a 5% relaxation will be applicable.
It is important to note that there are no minimum qualifying marks prescribed for individual subjects, and sectional marks will not be maintained.
