RRB NTPC UG recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the educational and age requirements before applying for the UG posts.
  • Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board to apply for the undergraduate posts.
  • Age limit: Applicants must be aged 18-30 years as on 01 July 2025. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen.

RRB NTPC UG recruitment 2025: Selection process

The selection for RRB NTPC 2025 undergraduate posts involves:
  1. Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT-1): Screening test with 100 questions (40 General Awareness, 30 Mathematics, 30 General Intelligence & Reasoning) to be completed in 90 minutes.
  2. Computer-Based Test 2 (CBT-2): Post-specific test with 120 questions (50 General Awareness, 35 Mathematics, 35 General Intelligence & Reasoning) in 90 minutes.
  3. Skill / Typing / Aptitude Test: As applicable for selected posts.
  4. Document verification and medical examination: Conducted to ensure candidates meet eligibility and medical standards.
Important: Each incorrect answer in both CBT-1 and CBT-2 will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
