RBSE board monthly test for classes 1 to 12 begins today

JAIPUR: Students studying in Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) will give their first exam on Thursday. From classes I to XII, around 85 lakh students will now have to give monthly tests that will help the administration to mark the students for finals.


Due to pandemic, the difficulty of not organizing the physical examination has forced the government to promote students without exams for the last two years. To overcome that problem, this year government has decided to conduct monthly tests on the basis of which students will be evaluated if due to pandemic, exams are not been held.

Director of secondary examination, Sourabh Swami on Wednesday has advised parents to help their children giving fair examination. From class IX to XII, exam will be held in schools but from classes I to VIII, exam will be held at home.

The exam sheet will later on have to submitted to the school authorities including the rough work.

These exams will continue from September 9 to 30. From classes I to X, for every subject one exam will be conducted. Whereas, from classes XI to XII, Hind and English paper will be conducted together and rest separately. Every question will be of one mark.
