Rajasthan Home Guard Physical Test Dates 2026 announced: PET/PST to begin from March 16, details here
The Department of Home Guards, Rajasthan has announced the schedule for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the Rajasthan Home Guard Recruitment 2026. Candidates who applied for the recruitment drive can now check the physical test schedule on the official portal. As per the notification, the physical tests are scheduled to begin on March 16, 2026, and will be conducted at designated centres across the state.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 3,842 Home Guard volunteer posts in various districts of Rajasthan. Candidates who successfully completed the application process will be required to appear for the PST and PET as part of the selection procedure. The physical tests will be organised at district training centres and battalions located in cities such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bikaner and Sikar.
The physical evaluation stage includes two key components: the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). During the PST, candidates’ physical measurements such as height and chest will be verified according to the eligibility criteria. The PET will assess candidates’ physical fitness through endurance activities, including running.
According to the recruitment guidelines, the merit list will be prepared based on a total of 45 marks. Out of these, 25 marks are allotted for the physical test, while up to 20 marks may be awarded for special abilities or relevant certificates.

Candidates appearing for the physical tests will be required to download their admit cards through the Rajasthan SSO portal. The admit cards are expected to be released approximately one week before the commencement of the physical tests. Applicants must carry the admit card along with valid identification documents to the test centre.
