Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has reminded candidates that the online registration for the Group D recruitment 2026 will close tomorrow, March 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Aspiring candidates seeking positions like Sewadar, Chowkidar, Sweeper, Mali, Laboratory Attendant, and other Group D posts across Punjab government departments are advised to complete their applications immediately. The recruitment offers a pay scale of Level‑1 under the 7th CPC, roughly ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 plus allowances.
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) with Punjabi as a subject from a recognised board. Age requirements as on January 1, 2026, are 18–37 years for general candidates, with relaxation available for reserved categories according to Punjab government rules. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility carefully before applying.

- Visit the official portal: sssb.punjab.gov.in
- Fill out the online application form accurately.
- Upload required documents, including educational certificates, ID proof, caste/PwD certificate (if applicable), and photograph & signature.
- Pay the application fee online (General: ₹1,000; SC/BC: ₹250; PwD: ₹500; Ex‑Servicemen: ₹200).
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
