As per the schedule, the online application process will start on February 27, 2026. The last date to submit the application form is March 20, 2026, till 5 PM. The last date to pay the application fee is March 20, 2026.

Eligibility, fee and selection process

Applicants must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. Punjabi must have been studied at the matriculation level. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years as on January 1, 2026. Reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules.

The application fee is Rs 1,000 for General and Freedom Fighter categories. SC, BC and EWS candidates need to pay Rs 250. Persons with Disabilities must pay Rs 500. Ex-Servicemen and their dependents need to pay Rs 200.
