PSPCL ALM Recruitment 2026: 6,289 posts announced— How to apply
The recruitment drive is aimed at filling Assistant Lineman posts to support power supply operations across the state. Out of the total vacancies, 3,289 posts have been announced under CRA 317/2026, while 3,000 posts fall under CRA 318/2026.
Candidates selected for the post will receive a starting basic pay of Rs 19,990 per month as per PSPCL Financial Circular No. 21/2022. The probation period for selected candidates will be three years.
To apply, candidates must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination and possess an ITI certificate in Electrician or Wireman trade issued by NCVT or SCVT. Applicants must also have passed Punjabi at the Matriculation level. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years as on January 1, 2026. Reserved category candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.
The online application process for the recruitment will begin on June 15 and June 19, depending on the advertisement number. The last date to submit applications is July 6, while the final date for fee payment is July 10. The selection process will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The application fee for General, Backward Class and other categories is Rs 1,416, including GST. Scheduled Caste and Persons with Disabilities candidates will have to pay Rs 885, including GST. PSPCL has stated that the fee must be paid online and will not be refunded once submitted.
