Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: Over 1.7 crore registrations so far; here’s how you can join
PM Modi Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: The registration process for the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has now begun. Students, teachers and parents interested in being part of this nationwide interaction can submit their applications through the MyGov portal at innovateindia1.mygov.in. The registration window will remain open until 11 January, 2026.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is a flagship annual initiative conducted ahead of the board examination season. The programme offers students a unique platform to interact directly with the Prime Minister and discuss concerns related to examinations, including stress management, mental well-being, academic expectations, performance pressure and other challenges commonly faced during exams. Separate engagement activities are also curated for teachers and parents.
Over the years, Pariksha Pe Charcha has witnessed remarkable growth. According to government data, participation numbers have increased from around 22,000 individuals during its inaugural edition in 2018 to nearly 3.56 crore registrations in the eighth edition held in 2025. In addition, Jan Andolan activities linked to PPC 2025 saw participation from approximately 1.55 crore people, taking the overall engagement close to 5 crore.
According to the latest participation numbers shared on the official portal, Pariksha Pe Charcha has recorded a total of 1,70,71,851 participants so far. This includes 1,58,58,675 students, 10,26,053 teachers and 1,87,123 parents, pointing to the programme’s expanding reach across the academic ecosystem.
The 2025 edition of PPC also created a Guinness World Record, with students joining from more than 245 countries, teachers from 154 countries, and parents representing 149 countries. According to the official announcement, participants who successfully complete the PPC 2026 activities on the portal will be awarded a certificate of participation issued by MyGov.
The following groups are eligible to register for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026:
All participants are required to register through the MyGov portal to take part in the ninth edition. Students will also have the option to submit a question for the Prime Minister, limited to a maximum of 500 characters.

- Visit the official PPC page on the MyGov portal at innovateindia1.mygov.in.
- Click on the ‘Participate Now’ option available on the homepage.
- Choose the appropriate category: Student, Teacher or Parent.
- Students must fill in the required details and submit their creative entry or question within the prescribed character limit.
- Parents and teachers can participate by completing the activity modules specifically designed for them.
- Submit the application form and save the confirmation details for future reference.
