ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad high court on Friday asked the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and the state government to file counter affidavits by July 14 pertaining to a writ related to the results of the PCS-(pre) examination-2010.
A bench consisting of Justice Sunil Ambwani and Justice Sabhajeet Yadav passed this order on a writ petition filed by Sanjay Misra and two others.
In the writ, the petitioner have said that in subjects - sociology, history and general knowledge, some questions and their answers were incorrectly given. The petitioners asked that modified results be declared by the UPPSC.
The writ petition was argued by Anil Tiwari and was opposed by P S Baghel, senior advocate. The court did not grant immediate interim relief to the petitioners, but fixed July 14 to hear the case.
