PRAYAGRAJ: At a time when jubilations are high in the families of students who have come out with flying colours in the results of class X board, announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on Tuesday, two students of the city, Parth Baranwal of Khelgoan Public School and Nandini Singh of Rishikul Patanjali school, have scored 99.4% marks and hence outshined the rest of the students of the city.

Parth, who had also topped his school in class IX, is a native of Sultanpur and resides in Mundera locality of the city. His father Tripati Kumar Baranwal is a banker in Punjab National bank while his mother, Poonam, is a state government teacher.
“I am happy with the result but would have been happier and content if I would have scored the same percentage after appearing in the exams”, said Parth, who dreams of pursuing engineering from the best IIT in the country.
Barring Hindi, in which he has scored 97 marks, young Parth has scored full 100 marks in all four subjects i.e. English, Maths, Science and Social Science.
Likewise, another young achiever of the city, Nandini Singh wants to become an IAS officer. A resident of the Bairana locality of the city, Nadini’s father is a lecturer in Physics in a government college in Handia.
Talking to TOI, Nandini said, “I will crack UPSC, keeping Physics, Chemistry or Maths as my subjects and I was confident of good marks as I had got 95% in first pre-board in the school and the second pre-board was much better. I am satisfied with the decision of the government that at least our results have been announced and one full year was not wasted because of the pandemic”, she said
She has scored 99 in English, 98 in Hindi, and full 100 marks in Maths, Science and Social Science along with 100 marks in Information Technology.
