Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026: When and where to watch PM Modi’s conversation with students
The students in India are once again eager for Pariksha Pe Charcha, an annual session of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with young students. The programme is known to be motivational and to offer the practical advice that helps the students to go into exams not only with confidence but also with management of stress and attaining a balanced state of mind. The special episode will be aired on February 6, 2026, and it will provide millions of students, parents, and teachers with an opportunity to watch together.
The 2026 edition is special because it is big and covers a wide audience. It was the first time that the programme was held concurrently in five locations in India, namely, Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, Guwahati, and the 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi. This national strategy denotes the rising popularity of Pariksha Pe Charcha and also shows how the Prime Minister desires to reach the students in every part of the nation.
In one of the posts on X, PM Modi referred to the meetings as refreshing and inspiring, with the students being very enthusiastic and open. He focused on how to have stress-free exams and gave practical tips on how to be confident, overcome challenges, and have a balanced routine.
The 2026 model had nothing to do with the longstanding model of Delhi alone and made a break by incorporating north-south-east-west-central India students in a single platform. These regional interactions were demonstrated by videos posted on the MyGovIndia portal, which emphasized the truly pan-Indian nature of the programme.
The student reaction has been tremendous. MyGovIndia reported that 4.5 crore students registered online from December 1, 2025, to January 11, 2026. The other 2.26 crore played in with school-level and other related engagements, which made the total number of participants to a record over 6.76 crore since the initiative was launched in 2018.
This involvement demonstrates the evolution of the programme into a nationwide movement since it started as a mere pre-exam conversation but provided students with a voice to express their issues, coping mechanisms, and support in the face of exams.
Pariksha Pe Charcha was initiated in February 2018 and started as an interaction between students, parents, and teachers in Delhi. It has grown in size and structure over the years, and the 2026 edition is the most geographically encompassing so far. The issue that began locally has now gone national, with the need to prioritize mental well-being as well as academic success.
Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 is an episode that will be aired on February 6, 2026. It is available on Doordarshan and official digital platforms such as the MyGovIndia portal to students, parents, and teachers alike.
With the approach of board exams, Pariksha Pe Charcha reminds students that marks are important but it is even better to have a calm mind and positive attitude. To millions of young students in the country it is an opportunity to relax, introspect, and get motivated that they are not alone in examinations.
