The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is set to soon close the registration process on February 15, 2026, for the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2025-II. This recruitment drive aims to fill 1,518 vacancies for the posts of Forester, Forest Guard and Excise Constable in different departments of the Government of Odisha, according to the official detailed notification.
Fresh candidates who have not registered earlier can complete online registration till February 15 and submit the application by February 22, 2026. Candidates who are already registered with OSSSC can log in using their existing User ID and complete re-registration. Applications will be accepted only through the official website osssc.gov.in.
The registration window opened on January 7, 2026.
All posts are Group C posts and will be filled at the district, circle or division level. Selected candidates will be posted within the concerned district, circle or division.

- Forester: 47 posts
- Forest Guard: 896 posts
- Excise Constable: 575 posts
All posts are Group C posts and will be filled at the district, circle or division level. Selected candidates will be posted within the concerned district, circle or division.

- Bachelor of Science or equivalent for the post of Forester
- High School Certificate Examination or equivalent for Forest Guard
