As per the notification, the online registration process will commence on April 8, 2026, enabling eligible students to apply for intermediate courses across affiliated schools and colleges in Bihar.

The centralised admission system is designed to streamline the process for lakhs of students seeking enrolment into Science, Commerce, Arts, and Agriculture streams, based on merit in the Class 10 board examinations.

Students who have successfully passed the Class 10 (Matric) examination from BSEB, CBSE, ICSE, or any other recognised board are eligible to apply. Admissions will be granted strictly on the basis of merit, determined by marks obtained in the secondary examination.

Candidates are required to pay a total fee of Rs 350 to complete the application process. This amount includes Rs 150 as the application fee and Rs 200 as the educational institution fee.

The board has enabled multiple payment modes to ensure accessibility. Students can pay the fee in cash through an e-challan or use digital methods such as net banking, debit card, or credit card via designated banking channels.
