The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, has released the official notification for Group B and Group C Recruitment 2026. The institute has invited online applications for multiple non-teaching posts in different departments. Interested candidates can apply through the official website within the given deadline.

The recruitment drive includes Group B and Group C posts in administrative and technical departments. These posts include Junior Secretariat Assistant, Stenographer, Library Assistant, EEG Technician, Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), Hospital Assistant and other support staff positions. The total number of vacancies has been announced in the official notification. Candidates must check the post-wise vacancy details before applying.

The selection process will include a written examination. Some posts may also require a skill test, depending on the nature of the job. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.

Candidates from General, OBC and EWS categories have to pay an application fee of Rs 885. SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs 590. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are exempted from paying the fee.

Eligibility criteria and age limit

The educational qualification varies according to the post. For some posts, candidates must have passed Class 12. For others, a diploma, ITI certificate, graduation degree or technical qualification in the relevant field is required. Candidates should check the specific qualification mentioned for the post they are applying for.

The age limit is different for each post. The upper age limit will be calculated as mentioned in the notification. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
