The syllabus for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 has been officially released. The update has been announced through a notice issued recently by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is meant to guide students preparing for the medical entrance examination for the academic session 2026-27.
As per the notice, the Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB), which functions under the NMC, has finalised the NEET UG 2026 syllabus. The detailed syllabus has already been uploaded on the official website of the NMC for public reference. All stakeholders, especially aspirants, have been advised to carefully go through the updated syllabus before starting or continuing their preparation.
In its public notice dated December 22, 2025, the Board clearly stated that the NEET UG 2026 syllabus has been finalised and approved by the competent authority. Candidates have been advised to use only this updated syllabus while preparing study material and planning their preparation strategy.
