NEET PG counselling 2025: MCC extends round 2 choice filling again, here is how to submit preferences
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the choice filling and locking deadline for NEET PG 2025 Round 2 counselling after releasing a revised seat matrix that added new seats across several postgraduate programmes. Candidates can now submit and lock their choices on the official portal, mcc.nic.in, until 13 December 2025.
The extension was announced to ensure that candidates receive enough time to review the expanded list of seats and update their preferences accordingly. Due to this change, the Round 2 seat allotment result has also been postponed. MCC has stated that the revised allotment schedule will be released separately, and candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates.
MCC’s decision to delay the allotment result stems from the need to accommodate these additions and allow candidates to make informed choices based on the revised availability.
