NDA, CDS 1 Result 2026 Out: How to apply for SSB Interview after clearing Written Exam
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the NDA 1, NA 1 and CDS 1 results 2026 on its official website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates who cleared the written examination will now move to the next stage of the recruitment process i.e. the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.
The result PDFs contains the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. According to the official CDS 1 result PDF, a total of 8,826 candidates have qualified for the SSB interview round.
For many candidates, the next question is what happens after clearing the written exam. The SSB interview is the most important stage after the written test and is conducted to assess personality, leadership skills, communication abilities and overall suitability for the armed forces.
Candidates shortlisted in the UPSC NDA and NA 1 examinations must register online on the Indian Army recruitment website within two weeks from the date of result declaration.
After registration, candidates will receive details regarding their SSB interview centre and interview dates through their registered email IDs.

Indian Army (IMA/OTA): Candidates applying for IMA or OTA have to register through the Indian Army website and fill their SSB interview preferences.
Indian Navy (INA): INA candidates need to complete profile registration and submit SSB centre choices through the Navy portal.
Indian Air Force (AFA): AFA candidates can check SSB allocation details through their Air Force login dashboard.
