Narayana Group opens Centre of Excellence at Swargate in Pune
PUNE: The Narayana Group of Institutions, one of Asia’s largest education networks, has strengthened its presence in Maharashtra with the inauguration of a new Centre of Excellence (CO) at Swargate, Pune, bringing its top-ranking academic system to aspiring students in the region.
The launch comes on the back of Narayana’s strong showing in JEE Advanced 2025, where its students secured five of the Top 10 All India Open Category ranks, including AIR 3, 4, 6, 7, and 10. Parth Mandar Vartak (AIR 4) and Sahil Deo (AIR 7) emerged as Maharashtra toppers, both trained under Narayana’s Mumbai academic ecosystem. Overall, Narayana students secured 43 ranks in the Top 100 and over 200 ranks within the Top 1,000.
Addressing the media after the inauguration, Prameela P, Pan-India Academic Head of the Narayana Group, said the Pune centre would replicate the institution’s proven academic framework. Pune students will now have access to the same structured teaching and performance monitoring system that has consistently produced national toppers, she added.
“The same core academic discipline, research-driven pedagogy, and rigorous performance monitoring that have delivered consistent national results will now be implemented at the Swargate Centre. Our objective is to provide a focused ecosystem that enables students from Maharashtra to compete for top national ranks,” she said.
The Swargate CO Centre offers hostel facilities to support students preparing for JEE and NEET examinations. With a 46-year legacy, the Narayana Group operates more than 900 institutions across the country, supported by over 50,000 teachers and catering to over six lakh students.
The inauguration was attended by senior officials including Jayshimha Reddy, Maharashtra Academic Head; Bhushan Jamsandekar, Principal, Mumbai CO Campus; Siddesh Naik, Academic Dean, Andheri CO Campus; Rakesh Yadav, Vice President, Prodigy Narayana; Sumit Chaturvedi, Marketing Head, Mumbai CO Campus; Satish Desari, DGM, Pune; and Madhukar Reddy, Centre Head, and Rushikesh Jadhwar, Branch Manager of Pune CO Campus.
