MPSC Recruitment 2026: Registration begins today for multiple Group A and B posts, know how to apply
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has opened the registration process for multiple Group A and Group B posts under Advertisement Nos. 004/2026 to 009/2026. The application window begins today, March 20. Candidates can apply for specialised roles across legal, healthcare, and administrative departments of the Maharashtra government.
These notifications are part of a separate recruitment process from the State Service Examination and are meant to fill specialised posts in departments like public health, prosecution, and municipal administration, including roles under the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (MCGM).

The eligibility criteria are different for each post. Law-related roles like prosecutor require an LLB degree. A Medical post requires an MBBS or its equivalent degree. An Administrative and welfare post needs a graduate degree from a recognised university. Besides, the candidates should be within the age limit and satisfy other conditions as specified in the official notification. Age relaxation shall be given to reserved categories, as per the rules.
The selection procedure may not be the same for all posts and may involve a written examination or screening test, followed by an interview or viva voce. In some special areas, especially in the medical and legal fields, more emphasis may be given during selection on qualifications and performance in interviews.
