MPESB recruitment 2026: Application for 1,679 posts ends on March 14; check direct link to apply
The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal will close the application process for the Forest Guard, Field Guard, Jail Prahari and Assistant Jail Superintendent recruitment examination 2026 on March 14, 2026. Candidates who have not yet submitted their forms should complete the registration before the deadline.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official websites of the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board at esb.mp.gov.in and esb.mponline.gov.in.
The official notification for the recruitment was released on February 27, 2026. The online application process started on February 28, 2026.
The last date to submit the application form is March 14, 2026.
Candidates will be allowed to make corrections in their submitted application forms until March 19, 2026. The computer based test is scheduled to begin from April 07, 2026.
A total of 1,679 vacancies have been announced under this recruitment drive. The posts are available in the Forest Department and the Jail Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The post wise vacancies are as follows:
Candidates who have passed Class 10 are eligible to apply for the Forest Guard, Field Guard and Jail Prahari posts.
For the Assistant Jail Superintendent post, candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognised university.
Age limit
For Forest Guard, Field Guard and Jail Prahari posts, candidates must be between 18 and 33 years of age. For the Assistant Jail Superintendent post, the age limit is 21 to 33 years.
The age will be calculated as on January 01, 2026. Upper age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
The application fee is Rs 500 for candidates belonging to the General, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), female, Physically Handicapped (PH) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories need to pay Rs 250. The fee must be paid through online mode only.
