MCC extends NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 3 choice filling; seat matrix revised for fresh options
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has further extended the window for choice filling in NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 3, giving candidates more time to fill or change their choices for postgraduate medical seats in India.
Eligible candidates can do so through the official website of the MCC, which is mcc.nic.in. The extension in the window comes as part of the efforts to help students in the ongoing counselling process.
Confirming the extension, the MCC said in its official notice, “In view of above, the competent authority has decided to extend the Choice Filling for Round-3 of All India PG Counselling till further information in larger interest of candidates.” However, the MCC has not yet announced a new closing date. Candidates have been advised to do their choice filling as soon as possible and keep checking the official website for updates.
Along with the extension, MCC has also revised the seat matrix for Round 3. Several medical institutes have added new seats, while some have withdrawn previously available ones.
As per the official notice, seats marked for withdrawal will be removed from the Round 3 matrix before seat allotment begins. At the same time, seats listed for addition have already been included in the updated matrix. This allows candidates to consider newly available options while filling or reshuffling their choices.
The new seat list is available on the MCC website, and candidates can start filling their choices for both existing and new seats. MCC has asked students to check the new matrix before final submission, as seat availability is an important factor in the allotment process.
To proceed with Round 3, candidates need to log in to the MCC website using their credentials and fill their choices within the extended period. After final submission, candidates should lock their choices to prevent any technical problems at the end.
Candidates can follow the steps elucidated here to start filling their choices:
Candidates are advised to double-check their selections before final submission, as changes may not be allowed after the window closes.
