Maharashtra Board Class 12th result 2025 : The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially declared the HSC (Class 12) results for 2025, with a total pass percentage of 91.88%. The announcement was made on Monday by Board Chairman Sharad Gosavi during a press briefing. Over 14 lakh students appeared for the crucial state board exams conducted across nine divisions, including Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Latur, Kolhapur, and Konkan.
Despite a marginal dip of 1.49% compared to last year’s results, the overall performance remains encouraging, with several divisions and student categories showcasing outstanding achievement. A deeper look into stream-wise, gender-wise, and division-wise results highlights key trends shaping the academic landscape of Maharashtra's higher secondary education.
The Maharashtra HSC Result 2025 reflects a strong academic showing across the state. A total of 14,27,085 regular students from various streams and divisions had registered for the Class 12 board examinations conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). Out of these, 14,17,969 students appeared for the exams held earlier this year. Among those who took the exam, 13,02,873 students cleared it successfully, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 91.88%. This figure, while slightly lower than last year’s, still indicates a consistent performance by the state’s student population.
Of the nine divisional boards, Konkan division recorded the highest pass percentage among regular students at 96.74%, followed by Pune and Mumbai. Meanwhile, Latur reported the lowest success rate at 89.46%, underscoring the need for more targeted academic support in the region.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to access the Maharashtra HSC result 2025.- Visit the official website: Go to the Maharashtra State Board’s official result portal: hscresult.mahahsscboard.in
- Click on the HSC result link: On the homepage, look for the link that reads “HSC Examination Result March 2025” and click on it.
- Enter required details: You will be redirected to a login page. Enter the following:
- Your roll number: Your Mother’s First Name (as mentioned on the admit card)
- Submit the information: After entering the details, click on the ‘View Result’ or ‘Submit’ button.
- View and download the result: Your Maharashtra HSC 2025 result will be displayed on the screen. Review the marks and subject-wise grades carefully.
- Download and print: Download the provisional marksheet and take a printout for future reference. The official hard copy will be issued by your respective school.
