Lucknow University postpones examination scheduled from July 7
LUCKNOW: Lucknow University announced the postponement of its examination scheduled from July 7 till further orders on Friday. Over 1.40 lakh students in LU and its 170 associated colleges were to appear in the examination.
The decision was taken in view of UP govt's decision to review the situation arising after a spike in Covid-19 cases and then take a call on whether the examination should be conducted or not.
"The examination scheduled from July 7 has been postponed as the university will wait for government's direction regarding the conduct of the examination ," said
LU had declared examination schedule for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses on June 19, thereafter the varsity had faced protests from students and teachers who demanded postponement of examination considering the novel coronavirus pandemic situation.
