Local school alumni funds two laptops for teachers to strengthen online education during corona times

In a release issued here on Monday school principal

Rajiv Kumar Sharma

informed that Pannu was deeply concerned with the Covid 19 situation in India and particularly its effect on the education sector and wanted to strengthen the e learning programme of his former school.

Simratbir Singh Pannu passed grade XII from the school in 2008 and went on to US for undergraduate studies and is now a

Control System Engineer

at Houston, Texas.

Rajiv said Simratbir wanted to do more for the school and teachers whom he considered the foundational influence in his life and career and expressed his wish to fund buying of laptops for the teachers and wire-transferred US $ 1000 to purchase two laptops and conveyed that he would continue to do so in future too.

and Sarika Singh teaching middle and primary classes respectively were selected through a draw of lots and laptops were handed over to them” said the principal.
