Lecture on astrophysics held at Science City

AHMEDABAD: Science City, in association with British Council, organized an interactive talk on the topic of astrophysics on Thursday morning. The talk was conducted by Jen Gupta, an astrophysicist and science communicator.
She is public engagement and outreach manager for institute of cosmology and gravitation at the University of Portsmouth in UK.
During her talk, she narrated her journey as an astrophysicist, the wonders of the universe and how to build a career in this exciting field.
“Astrophysics has many untold stories, which should be communicated with societies. It will help create the budding scientists,” she said. She also answered queries of the participants.
