KEAM 2026 registration to begin soon: CEE Kerala releases list of documents required to apply online
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has announced that the registration process for the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM) 2026 will begin soon. Ahead of the application window, CEE Kerala has released an official notice asking candidates to keep all required certificates ready for uploading during the online application process.
According to the notice, candidates who wish to claim reservation benefits, fee concession, or category-based relaxation must upload valid and relevant certificates along with the KEAM 2026 application form.
These certificates must be obtained in advance from the concerned revenue authorities.
Separate guidelines have also been issued for candidates seeking admission under the NRI quota.
Note: CEE Kerala has advised candidates to carefully ensure that all certificates are valid and issued for state educational purposes, as incorrect or invalid documents may lead to rejection of claims during KEAM 2026 admission.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates on KEAM 2026 registration dates and detailed instructions.

- Candidates applying under the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota must submit documents related to their sponsor. These include a passport copy and visa attested by the Indian Embassy, Green Card, or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) documents of the sponsor. The sponsor’s job details and visa validity must be clearly mentioned.
- If employment details are not included in the visa or passport documents, an employment certificate attested by the Embassy or Consulate authorities must be submitted.
- A relationship certificate issued by revenue authorities is mandatory to establish the relationship between the sponsor and the candidate. If the sponsor is the father or mother, educational certificates mentioning the sponsor’s name will also be accepted.
- Candidates must also submit a sworn affidavit from the sponsor on stamp paper worth ₹200, notarised by a Notary Public, stating that the student is dependent on the sponsor and that all course-related expenses will be borne by them.
- The sponsor must be an Indian citizen, Overseas Citizen of India, or Person of Indian Origin, and supporting documents must be provided.
