JNTUH to conduct annual inspections in December

HYDERABAD: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) will conduct the annual fact finding committee inspections to grant affiliations for the ensuing academic year 2020-21 in December.

Due to the pandemic, the university had decided to grant provisional affiliations to all the colleges that had submitted online application seeking affiliation. The college managements have now been asked to submit an affidavit stating they will comply with all affiliation norms scrupulously, failing which disciplinary action will be initiated against them.

Apart from this, the university has also asked all colleges to sign an undertaking on affiliation fee and common service fee dues by November 2, 2020.

The undertaking states that the managements have no issues if the Telangana State Council of Higher deduct the amount equivalent to the dues towards affiliation and common services fee payable to

“Provisional affiliation letters for the academic year 2020-21 shall be issued to the colleges subject to submission of undertaking with regard to dues (if any),” reads a circular issued by the JNTUH.
