Jagadeesh Vasanthada Wins Industry Excellence Award at IEEE Conference
Technology leader Jagadeesh Vasanthada has been honoured with the Industry Excellence Award in AI Driven Procurement and Digital Transformation at the IEEE International Conference on Computational Engineering, Sensing Technology and Management 2025 held at Western Sydney University in Australia. Vasanthada currently serves as SAP Ariba Enterprise Architect and Project Delivery Manager at Kyyte, Atlanta, USA.
The award places Vasanthada among a select global group, with only nine professionals chosen from 2,679 submissions representing 85 countries. The shortlisted candidates included experts from Fortune 500 companies, leading academic institutions, government organisations and technology startups. The recognition highlights his sustained contribution to building AI first procurement systems and intelligent enterprise platforms that are being deployed at scale.
Speaking after receiving the award, Vasanthada said, “This recognition from IEEE is deeply meaningful because it validates years of work focused on turning advanced AI concepts into real world enterprise solutions. Procurement is no longer a back office function and AI gives it the power to become strategic and predictive.”
ICCETM 2025 brought together global researchers, engineers and industry leaders to discuss the growing convergence of artificial intelligence, engineering systems and enterprise management. The Industry Excellence Award is presented to professionals whose work demonstrates originality, scalability and measurable global impact. According to the jury, Vasanthada’s work stood out for its practical application of AI in complex procurement and supply chain environments.
With extensive experience leading large scale SAP Ariba and ERP transformation programmes across the United States, Vasanthada has helped organisations shift from reactive procurement models to data driven and resilient supply ecosystems. His work includes AI enabled sourcing workflows, predictive supplier risk intelligence and real time integration of ERP and automation platforms.
He added, “My focus has always been on building systems that can anticipate risk, support decision making and strengthen supply readiness. When enterprises adopt AI responsibly, the impact on efficiency, resilience and economic value is significant.”
Apart from industry leadership, Vasanthada is also the holder of a registered digital systems design and has authored peer reviewed research on AI led procurement and anticipatory supply networks. Through his work with US based enterprises, he continues to contribute to operational efficiency, workforce upskilling and global competitiveness, reinforcing the growing role of applied AI in modern enterprise transformation.
