Indian Navy has released the SSR Medical Admit Card 2026 for candidates appearing in the Agniveer SSR Medical Assistant recruitment examination. The admit card has been issued on 01 May 2026 through the official Indian Navy portal, enabling candidates to access examination details ahead of the scheduled test.
Applications for the recruitment were accepted between 14 March 2026 and 06 April 2026, with fee payment closing on the same date. Correction window remained open from 10 to 11 April 2026, while the written examination is scheduled for 16 May 2026 across designated centres.
Admit card release and access processCandidates can download the admit card by visiting the official Indian Navy website and selecting the Join Navy or Candidate Login section. After logging in with registration number or email ID and password, candidates must enter the captcha code to proceed. The admit card link titled SSR Medical or Medical Assistant Admit Card 2026 will appear for download and print.
Eligibility for Agniveer SSR Medical Assistant requires candidates to have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board in India. A minimum of 50 per cent overall marks and 40 per cent in each subject is mandatory. The age limit for SSR (MED) 02/2027 batch is between 01 May 2005 and 31 October 2009, both dates inclusive.
Selection process and examination structureSelection for the recruitment includes INET CBT, shortlisting state wise, Physical Fitness Test, written examination, medical examination and provisional merit list. Candidates are advised that the process is conducted in multiple stages to finalise selection for the Agniveer SSR Medical Assistant post.
Application fee for both General, OBC and EWS as well as SC and ST categories is Rs 550 plus 18 per cent GST, payable through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS or mobile wallet. The result date will be announced later on the official website. Candidates are advised to refer only to the Indian Navy portal for updates.
Candidates who have successfully applied for the Agniveer SSR Medical Assistant recruitment can access their admit card using login credentials on the official portal. The examination scheduled for 16 May 2026 will be conducted at designated centres, and candidates must carry printed admit cards along with valid identity proof for entry for identity verification.
