IIT Bombay releases UCEED, CEED 2026 draft answer key: Direct link to download and other details here
The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has released the draft answer key and question paper PDFs for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026 and the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2026.
Candidates who appeared for the exams can now download the draft answer keys and question papers from the official websites: ceed.iitb.ac.in/2026/ and uceed.iitb.ac.in/2026/
The UCEED and CEED 2026 examinations were conducted on January 18, 2026, in a test-centre based mode.
The exam was held for three hours, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
These entrance exams are conducted for admission to Bachelor of Design (BDes), Master of Design (MDes), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes.
The entrance examination was conducted in two parts:
Part A
Part A consisted of objective-type questions, including:
Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), and Multiple Selection Questions (MSQs).
Part B
For UCEED, Part B tested drawing and design aptitude; for CEED, Part B assessed drawing and writing skills.

How to raise objections on UCEED, CEED 2026 answer key
Candidates who have objections or queries related to the question papers or draft answer keys can submit their comments online.
Important points to keep in mind:
- Objections must be submitted through the candidate login portal only
- The last date to submit comments is January 22, 2026
- Requests sent via email will not be accepted
- Candidates are advised to clearly mention the question number and provide proper justification while submitting objections.
CEED 2026 result date
As per the official schedule:
- CEED 2026 result will be declared on March 4, 2026
- CEED score card will be available for download from March 10, 2026
- The score card will be valid for one year from the date of result declaration
- Updates related to the final answer key and results will be published only on the official IIT Bombay portals.
