Students can follow these steps to submit their application once the portal opens:
Candidates are advised to complete the application early to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Preparation tips for students
Students planning to appear for the IAT should begin revising core science concepts. A strong focus on fundamental ideas in physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology can help during preparation.
Solving previous years’ question papers and attempting mock tests can also help candidates understand the exam pattern and difficulty level.
With the application portal opening on March 5, 2026 and the entrance test scheduled for June 7, interested students should keep track of deadlines and begin their preparation early. Careful planning and timely application can improve the chances of securing admission to one of India’s leading science institutes.
