Jammu, Oct 6: In a momentous step towards fostering international academic cooperation, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Central University (NCU), Taiwan.
The MoU was signed by Prof B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu and Prof Jin Huei Yeh, Dean, National Central University, Taiwan in online mode.
Prof Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu, Dr Wei Hsien Li, Associate Professor, National Central University, Taiwan and others faculty members from both institutes were also present on the occasion.
Prof BS Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, expressed his happiness about this collaboration and said, "This MoU with National Central University, Taiwan, represents a significant step towards strengthening our global network of academic partnerships.
"This MoU will be followed by joint collaborations with National Central University, Taiwan in the areas of Academic and Research Exchange," Prof Sahay added.
Prof Jin-Huei Yeh, Dean, National Central University, Taiwan said, "This collaboration signifies a promising beginning of our joint journey towards advancing knowledge and fostering global academic connections.”
Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu mentioned that” The signing of this MoU underscores IIM Jammu's commitment to global excellence and its dedication to fostering academic growth on an international scale.
Dr. Wei Hsien Li, Associate Professor and Director, International Relations, National Central University, Taiwan, stated, “The collaboration between both Institutes will lead to meaningful outcomes in the interest of the stakeholders and pave the path for sustainable growth and development.”
