HSSC CET Phase 2 recruitment 2026: Registration begins for 4,227 Group C posts; direct link to apply here
HSSC CET Phase 2 recruitment 2026: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has started the online registration process for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Phase-II under Advt. No. 04/2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 4,227 Group C vacancies. Only candidates who cleared CET Phase-I (Advt. No. 01/2025) for Group C posts are eligible to apply.
Online applications can be submitted till February 23, 2026, through the official HSSC website. As per the notification, no application fee is required for any category.
The Phase-II exam will be a 100 question multiple-choice test (100 marks) to be completed in 105 minutes (1 hour 45 minutes). It will be held offline on OMR sheets, in both Hindi and English. The qualifying mark is 50% for the general category and 40% for reserved categories. Importantly, there is no negative marking for wrong answers (but if a question is left blank without marking the designated “no answer” bubble, one mark is deducted).
The final selection will be based on merit in CET Phase-I and this written exam. HSSC will shortlist up to ten times the number of vacancies (based on CET scores) for the Phase-II exam. In other words, the highest-ranked CET qualifiers (up to 10 per vacancy) can appear in this test. After the exam, appointments will be made according to overall merit. The Commission will announce the exact exam date and admit card release separately.

Candidates must have passed the Group C CET in 2025 (Advt. 01/2025). The advertisement follows Haryana government rules for age and qualifications. Importantly, no application fee is required. Applications are to be submitted online through the official HSSC portal in the given dates.
