Eligible candidates seeking teaching positions in government primary schools in Himachal Pradesh will be able to apply online within the specified application window. The recruitment drive aims to strengthen the state’s elementary education workforce by appointing trained teachers at the primary level.
According to the notification, a total of 600 posts of Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) will be filled through this recruitment drive. These positions are intended for government primary schools across Himachal Pradesh and will be filled as per the recruitment rules laid down by the state government.

Alternatively, candidates with a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree or those with a graduation degree along with a two-year D.El.Ed. qualification may also be eligible to apply, depending on the applicable recruitment rules.
The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 45 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
