Haryana Board Class 12 Special Marks Improvement exam 2026 postponed; BSEH to release new date sheet soon: Check notice here
The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has postponed the Senior Secondary (Class 12) Special Marks Improvement Examination January 2026. According to a public notice issued by the Board, the examination, which was earlier scheduled to begin on January 6, 2026, will now be conducted from January 21, 2026 onwards.
The examination is meant for Senior Secondary students from both Academic and Haryana Open School (HOS) streams. BSEH has informed students that the revised date sheet will be released shortly on the official website, bseh.org.in.
Earlier, BSEH had released a detailed date sheet stating that the Class 12 Special Partial Improvement Examination would be held from January 6 to January 14, 2026. The exams were planned in a single daily shift, generally from 12 noon to 3 pm, with some papers ending earlier at 2:30 pm due to shorter duration.
Subjects included Hindi Core, English Core, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Accountancy, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Sanskrit, and several electives. Multiple subjects were scheduled on the same day with different subject codes.
However, according to the latest public notice, this entire schedule now stands postponed, and students should not follow the dates released earlier.
Students are advised to keep a close eye on the official website for further updates in the timetable.
BSEH has earlier clarified that all examinations will be conducted under strict supervision. Students will be required to carry a valid admit card with an attested photograph to the examination centre. The use of mobile phones, calculators, or any electronic devices inside the exam hall is also strictly prohibited. Possession of such items may lead to an Unfair Means Case.
The board is also expected to release fresh admit cards once the official date sheet is out.
Ignore the earlier date sheet starting from January 6 and wait for the revised date sheet. Students should also keep checking bseh.org.in for official updates.
