AHMEDABAD: The GSEB on Tuesday announced the class 10 results 2020 on its official portal. This is the second result after the Gujarat secondary and higher secondary education board declared the result for the HSC science.
The Gujarat Board has made the GSEB SSC results available online. The results were declared around 6 am today.
A total of 10.83 lakh students had appeared for their examination which concluded just before the lockdown was implemented.
The Board had commenced the paper evaluation during the lockdown and the same was stopped later and resumed from April 26. The officials said that about 15000 teachers were involved in the paper checking process. This year, the result got delayed by 15 days due to the pandemic. The officials said that the result will be declared online only.
Last year, GSEB class 10 results were announced on May 21. The pass percentage of GSEB SSC results in 2019 was 66.97% which was on the lower side as compared to 2018. About 0.53% less students cleared their SSC examination this year as compared to last year. The English medium students posted a much higher pass out percentage than their counterparts. A total of 23.53% more students cleared their examination from English Medium as compared to Gujarati Medium students.

The GSEB SSC result 2020 has been made accessible on GSEB's website. Candidates are required to login with their seven digit seat number to obtain GSEB SSC result 2020. Students are advised to retain the copy of their GSEB 10th result for future reference.
