Google launches free SAT practice tests on Gemini app with the Princeton Review partnership
Google has launched free full-length SAT practice tests for students through the Gemini app, in collaboration with The Princeton Review. The new feature allows learners to take complete tests under conditions that closely resemble the real exam, with immediate feedback on their performance.
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, shared the update on X, stating, “Helpful update for students, you can now take full practice SATs for free in the @GeminiApp. It uses vetted content from @ThePrincetonRev and gives you feedback straight away. Starting with the SAT today, but more tests are on the way!”
Gemini provides in-depth feedback on strengths and weaknessesOnce a student has completed a test on Gemini, they are given a report which shows them their areas of strength and where they need to improve. The test details are included with an explanation of the correct answers and knowledge gap. A personalized plan can also be developed to assist the student.
The partnership with The Princeton Review ensures that the test content is rigorously vetted. Students are not only practising but preparing with materials that closely reflect the type and difficulty of questions they will face on the actual SAT. The tests include sections for reading, writing, and maths.
Easy access and structured test experience
After selecting a subject within the Gemini app, students can view the full test paper and begin their practice. An interactive guide helps the learner through the different sections on the test, resembling the real test time taken on the SAT. Feedback is provided immediately after completion, helping students monitor their progress efficiently.
Support for effective preparation
Beyond scoring, Gemini offers explanations for every question and highlights areas where learners need improvement. Students can generate targeted study plans to focus on weaker sections, making preparation more strategic and personalised. The tool is designed to build both confidence and readiness for test day.
The collaboration with The Princeton Review adds credibility to the practice tests, as the organisation has extensive experience in standardised test preparation. Google emphasises that these practice tests are part of a broader initiative to support students in achieving their academic goals through accessible, high-quality learning tools.
With this launch, students now have free access to full-length SAT practice tests on Gemini, supported by reliable guidance from The Princeton Review. The service aims to make exam preparation more structured and effective for learners everywhere.Ready to navigate global policies? Secure your overseas future. Get expert guidance now!
