The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has commenced the admission process for its University School of Liberal Arts for the academic session 2026, inviting applications for the four-year BA Liberal Arts (Hons.) programme. Offered in line with the UGC’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the programme is designed to provide students with a flexible, multidisciplinary academic pathway, including multiple entry and exit options.

Candidates can apply through either the university’s Common Entrance Test (CET) or the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). The curriculum integrates core social science disciplines with skill-based learning and research exposure. Interested applicants must complete the online registration process before the March 31, 2026 deadline.

Along with it, the newly introduced BMS programme aims to cater to the growing demand for management education. Candidates can apply through CET or CUET-UG, with the registration window for Liberal Arts closing on March 31, 2026.

GGSIPU BA admissions: Courses and specialisations offered

The BA Liberal Arts (Hons.) programme offers a multidisciplinary curriculum with options to major in:

• Sociology

The programme is designed to provide a broad-based education in social sciences, helping students build analytical, research, and communication skills.

GGSIPU introduces BMS programme

In a recent press release, the university announced the launch of the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programme from the academic session 2026–27. The programme will be offered at the university’s affiliated institute, the Indian Institute of Packaging, Patparganj.

A total of 60 seats will be available for this four-year programme. Admission will be based on performance in the university’s CET, followed by CUET-UG scores.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and English as a subject.

University officials noted that the programme has significant market demand, with several institutions across India already offering similar courses. The decision to introduce BMS has been taken keeping in view evolving industry requirements and student interest in management education.

Admission process

Admissions to the programme will be conducted through the GGSIPU Common Entrance Test (CET) as well as the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). Candidates seeking admission are advised to carefully review the detailed eligibility criteria, selection process, and other admission guidelines available on the university’s official website before submitting their applications.
