GATE COAP 2026 registration begins at coap2026.iitr.ac.in: Check steps to apply and key details here
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has started the registration process for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2026. The portal is used for admission to Master of Technology (MTech) programmes and recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
Eligible candidates can register online through the official website coap2026.iitr.ac.in.
Candidates who have qualified GATE 2026, GATE 2025, or GATE 2024 are eligible to apply for COAP 2026. Applicants must also be Indian citizens to register on the portal. If a candidate has more than one valid GATE scorecard, they must use the scorecard with the higher score or better rank while filling the application form.
As per the official schedule, Round 1 of COAP 2026 will begin on May 11, 2026, at 10 AM and will continue until May 13, 2026, at 9 AM. During this period, candidates will be able to view offers and make their decisions.
The final round (Round 10) will be conducted from June 8, 2026, at 10 AM to July 10, 2026, at 9 AM.

- Visit the official website at coap2026.iitr.ac.in
- Click on the Register link on the homepage
- Enter your valid GATE registration number, email ID, and mobile number
- Create a password and submit the details
- Log in using your credentials
- Fill in the required details in the COAP form
- Submit the application form
- Download or print the confirmation page for future reference
