Delhi University PG admissions begins for 2026-27: Check eligibility, last date, fees, link and steps to apply
University of Delhi has started registrations for admission to its two-year postgraduate programmes for the 2026-27 academic session, according to an official statement on Saturday.
The application window will remain open from May 16 to June 7. Admissions will be conducted through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) PG portal and will be based only on CUET-PG 2026 scores in the relevant subject papers, the university said.
The university has also introduced an auto-integration system this year to fetch candidates’ details and CUET scores directly through DigiLocker and API Setu. It said the move is aimed at ensuring a uniform authentication system, improving data security and reducing duplication under the Digital India framework.
Along with this, DU said students currently in the third or fourth year of their undergraduate courses will also be eligible to apply for the two-year master’s programmes, subject to programme-specific eligibility conditions.

From the 2026-27 academic session, the university will offer two types of postgraduate programmes under the National Education Policy (NEP) framework — one-year master’s programmes and two-year master’s degrees.
The registration fee has been set at Rs 100 per programme for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. For UR, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates, the fee is Rs 250 per programme.
The university has advised candidates to check the PG bulletin of information and CSAS-PG 2026 guidelines for details on eligibility and seat allocation rules.
DU also said applications for one-year postgraduate programmes will be opened separately on a different portal, which will be announced later.
Students with four-year undergraduate degrees — including honours with research or entrepreneurship — will be eligible for the new structure, subject to conditions laid down by the university.
The university has also introduced mid-entry and spot admission rounds for candidates who miss the initial deadline. It said those who do not apply within the given window can still participate through mid-entry by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000.
Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official admission website for updates, the university said.
