Delhi ITI admissions 2026: Registration begins tomorrow at itidelhi.admissions.nic.in, check list of required documents
The Directorate of Training and Technical Education (DTTE), Delhi, will begin the registration process for Delhi Industrial Training Institute (ITI) admissions 2026 from June 8. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official admission portal, itidelhi.admissions.nic.in.
The admission process will be conducted for 19 government ITIs across Delhi. A total of 11,336 seats are available in 54 trades offered by these institutes. The courses are affiliated with either the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

Delhi ITI admission 2026: Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for admission:
- The candidate should be at least 14 years old at the time of admission.
- There is no upper age limit for applying.
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 from a recognised board, depending on the trade selected.
- Applicants should either be residents of Delhi or have completed their schooling in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
- Candidates must be medically fit and should provide a valid medical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner.

- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Sub-category certificate (if applicable)
- Certificate from a Delhi Government-registered orphanage for orphan candidates (if applicable)
- Certificate issued by the Block Development Officer (BDO) for candidates belonging to rural areas of Delhi (if applicable)
- Qualifying examination certificate
- Candidate undertaking (mandatory)
- Recent passport-size photograph
Reservation policy for Delhi ITI admissions 2026
Seats will be allotted according to the reservation policy prescribed by the government.
Under the vertical reservation category:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates will receive 15% reservation.
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will receive 7.5% reservation.
- Other Backward Class – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidates will receive 27% reservation.
The reservation benefits will be provided to eligible candidates who submit the necessary supporting documents during the admission process.
