CUET UG 2026 answer key released at cuet.nta.nic.in; challenge window open till June 11: Direct link
CUET UG answer key 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys, question papers and recorded responses for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access these materials through the official CUET portal and submit objections to the provisional answer key.
According to the public notice issued on June 9, 2026, CUET UG 2026 was conducted in multiple shifts in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across India and abroad. A total of 15,68,867 candidates had registered for the undergraduate entrance examination, which was held from May 11 to May 31 and again on June 6 and June 7.
Answer key challenge facility available
NTA has enabled the answer key challenge facility for candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answers. The challenge window opened on June 9 and will remain available until June 11, 2026, up to 10.00 pm.
Candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 for each question challenged. The payment can be made through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI. The last date for payment of the challenge fee is June 11, 2026, up to 11.50 pm. The agency stated that no challenge will be considered without successful payment of the prescribed fee.
Expert review process
NTA said that all objections submitted by candidates will be examined by a panel of subject experts. If a challenge is found to be valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Any revision made to an answer will be applied uniformly to the responses of all candidates.
The final result of CUET UG 2026 will be prepared on the basis of the revised final answer key. The agency clarified that individual candidates will not be informed separately regarding the acceptance or rejection of their objections. The answer key finalised by the expert panel will be treated as final.
Steps to submit objections
To raise objections, candidates must log in to the official CUET website using their application number and password. They can view their question paper, recorded responses and answer key before selecting questions for challenge.
Supporting documents, if any, must be uploaded as a single PDF file. After reviewing the selected claims, candidates are required to submit them and complete the fee payment process. NTA has advised candidates to regularly visit the official website for further updates related to CUET UG 2026.
